Before there were books, podcasts, websites, or resources, there was simply our family.

The Robinson's Takeover began long before we ever imagined sharing our story with the world. It started with a husband and wife building a life together, raising children, creating memories, taking trips, dreaming big, and believing that family was life's greatest blessing.

We weren't chasing perfection. We were building a life.

A life filled with laughter around the dinner table, family adventures, late-night conversations, celebrations, challenges, and countless ordinary moments that would one day become treasured memories.

Then everything changed.

In 2024, our family lost the heart of our home when my husband, Charles Robinson, passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. What felt like an unimaginable loss became a defining moment in our story.

Grief has a way of changing your perspective.

It teaches you that tomorrow isn't promised.
It reminds you that time is precious.
And it reveals that the things that matter most were never things at all.

The memories.
The relationships.
The lessons.
The legacy.

As difficult as that season was, it also gave new purpose to what The Robinson's Takeover would become.

What started as a way to document our family's journey evolved into a place where we could share our experiences, preserve our memories, help others prepare for the future, and encourage people to live intentionally today.

Our family continues to move forward carrying the values that Charles helped build: faith, family, resilience, generosity, adventure, and love.

You'll see those values woven throughout everything we create—from our family travels and adventures, to our children's books, our podcast conversations, and resources like When I'm Gone, designed to help families leave behind clarity, peace, and legacy for the people they love most.

The Robinson's Takeover isn't just about where we've been.

It's about where we're going.

It's about honoring the life we built together while continuing to write the chapters that are still ahead.

It's about showing our children that even after loss, there is still joy to be found, memories to be made, places to explore, dreams to pursue, and lives to impact.

Most importantly, it's about continuing the legacy we started.

Because we are The Robinsons.

And while one chapter ended, our story didn't.
